St. Luke's has really been blessed by God the past few months! Patients are being helped and God is doing truly great things in the lives of brothers and sisters who are in need of His help.
We want to give you a chance to get in on the action! We're currently looking for volunteers in a few areas:
1) Transportation. Some patients have no means of getting to the clinic and just need someone to take them in order for them to get the care you they require. Think of yourself as a non-emergency ambulance, we can still give you a siren if you want :) You would only be taking one patient. We won't have you shuttling people all day.
2) Office staff. Those friendly (or grumpy) faces that you see when you walk into a doctor's office make a big difference. This is a great opportunity to welcome patients into the clinic and help them fill out the necessary paperwork.
3) Whatever your heart desires. Have an idea? Share it with us and we'll do our best to work it out.
If you're looking for some incentive, do remember that this would look pretty nice on a resume to graduate school. It also looks pretty nice on the spiritual resume. God seems to like it when we help in taking care of the sick. ("I was sick and you visited me" Mathew 25)
